Hibi, born on 19 April 1983, is the eldest son of George Eden and Rani Eden, growing up in Ernakulam under the care of his aunt Bellamma after losing his mother at the age of 3.

George Eden, Hibi’s father, was a prominent politician known for his honesty and straightforwardness, having served as a Member of Legislative Assembly and a Member of Parliament.

In a memorable instance in the legislative assembly, George Eden drew attention to the plight of Chavittunatakam artists by dressing in their costume for a submission.

Married to Anna Linda in 2012, a software professional and former branding expert for Radio Mango and Club FM, Anna is now pursuing a law degree from the Government Law College, Ernakulam.

She is also an Ottamthullal performer and excels in vegetable gardening.

The couple shares a daughter named Clara Anna Eden, born on 20 November 2012.

Hibi completed his schooling at CCPLM Anglo Indian High School, Perumanoor, and pursued pre-graduation and graduation in commerce from Sacred Heart College, Thevara.

He played a significant role in organizing K.S.U. Golden Jubilee celebrations and K.S.U. Kudumba Sangamam.

Hibi led various struggles and agitations, including the School Text Book Agitation, Struggle against the cessation of bus concessions to students, and Struggle for the renovation of SC & ST students’ hostels.

His efforts extended to national service as Volunteer Secretary of National Service Scheme (2001-04), organizing programs for mentally challenged individuals through the Indian Institute of Social Change.
