Charissa Thompson serves as the host of FOX NFL KICKOFF, the pregame show airing on Sunday mornings before FOX NFL SUNDAY.

Thompson began her remarkable career at FOX Sports in 2006, starting as an assistant in the human resources department before becoming one of the prominent faces of FS1 since its launch in August 2013.

A Seattle native and graduate of the University of California-Santa Barbara, Thompson moved to Los Angeles after completing her studies to work in the human resources department at FOX Sports.

Despite her initial role in human resources, Thompson developed an interest in TV production and secured a production assistant position at FOX Sports Net Rocky Mountain in 2007.

During her time in Denver, Thompson had her first on-air opportunity as a fill-in host for the Colorado Rockies all-access show.

Recognizing her comfort in front of the camera, FOX executives approached Thompson, leading to a role on the nationally syndicated program “Best Damn Sports Show Period” for two years.

Thompson then broadened her career horizons, working as a host for both Versus and Yahoo Sports in 2010, where she anchored Versus’ NHL studio coverage and recorded web videos for Yahoo’s high-profile events.
